Autism

What is Autism?

Autism is a neurodevelopmental or brain difference. Children may grow and communicate in ways that are uniquely their own. Some children may experience delays in speech and language, show differences in social communication, sensory sensitivities, have deeply focused interests, or have a strong preference for routines. These differences can sometimes lead to challenges at school, difficulties in peer relationships, or feelings of frustration, sadness, or anxiety.

I provide individualized support for children and teens with autism, using a neurodiversity‑affirming approach that honors each child’s strengths. My interventions draw from evidence‑based practices—including PCIT, CBT, ACT, and social‑thinking frameworks—to help youth build skills, confidence, and meaningful connections in their daily lives.
